I sell power supplies to the metal finishing market. Products Finishing is our main trade magazine.
In the December issue is an article on aerospace paint from PPG and Sherwin-Williams. There is a photo of an RV-12, N399FP, in the article. Interesting that the photo is not mentioned in the article.
The caption on the photo says "Small aircraft owners can now use PPG and Sherwin Williams paints like those being used by larger organizations such as Jazz Aviation regional aircrafts, which repainted with the new coatings systems."
In any case, another instance where the exposure of the RV exceeds the standard aviation industry media channels.
