Finishing Kit parts list

Anyone have a finishing kit parts list they can scan or mail a copy to me? I'm having difficulty getting this from Van's despite even telling them my desired configurations (tip up, IO-360-B2B, Catto 3 blade fp, etc). A list for a tip up configuration would be most helpful.

I just emailed a copy of my excel sheet to Bugsy and JA. IO-360 with quadrant throttle, tipup. Anyone else send me a pm and I'll be happy to forward my list.

When I called a few weeks back they said changes can be made after the order has been placed, so I may end up just sending in the order vanilla for now.
 
Thanks to all of you, too. I got the same message from Van's this past week -send in the order, and then you can amend it. However, I want to see the actual parts list and compare to aftermarket products (eg Grove's nose gear) - I have many deletions, enough that I may just order piecemeal. Even though I told them all the configurations, they don't seem to be too accomodating for now.

I'm going to bump this thread.

Looking for a copy of the finish kit contents for a tip up 9A.
Probably will go with an IO-320 and fixed pitch prop, but I'm still deciding...

Any other recommendations on items to purchase from Van's along with the finish kit?

I think you might be beating up Vans over the wrong kit.

There is precious little in the finish kits that is subject to common customization.
Once you tell them the engine and prop, it is what it is. Not much left open to easily change.

I can think of only a couple of items.

Brake hoses (If you are Bonaco bound)
Nose Wheel (if you want a Grove or something)
Cowl (if you are doing a holy cowl)

The majority of the rest of the finish kit is the canopy, engine mount and gear fairings. Its not stuff you are going to obtain easily elsewhere.

The firewall forward kit, on the other hand, has many commercially available items and is one that could be scrounged and scrutinized a lot.
 
A list of the hardware bags would be nice to have. I don't need any more rivets! I still have unopened bags from the fuselage and wing kits... :p
I have bought a couple of items already from Van's that are needed and I don't know if these are provided in the finish kit. Deleting these items and adding other things I'll eventually need will save me shipping costs and time later.

So, if any builders can shoot me a scanned copy of the finish kit contents, I would be grateful. Otherwise, I'll bug Van's.
 
Looking for a 7 slider as well, I am contemplating ordering the engine mount and gear/wheel assemblies seperatly so I can get the fuse rolling around and easily movable sooner. So if someone has one they can email me I am interested to see what all else is included besides the obvious, cowls and canopy with frame. Thanks alot!!

but what about....

when I try to look some of this stuff up in "the list" on van's site, much of the stuff does not come up.

Try for yourself with say... brakes or wheels.

I'm looking for prices too. Maybe this will be better suited to another thread-- moderators take note.
