Filling back of canopy frame

Anyone ever fill the back of the canopy frame with anything (foam + fiberglass or something) to make it look more "solid"?

If so, what'd you use?

Canopy Frame

Hi Steve,

I too was a little concerned regarding the 'flimsy' tip-up canopy along with sealing the join (at rollbar) from water and decided to install a 3" fibreglass 'hoop'. This hoop is glasses to the rear of the fwd section & covers the join between the fwd canopy and rear and has the added advantage of strengthening the rear of the tip-up canopy. If you would like a few pictures of what the end result looks lie PM me with your email.

Cheers, GB

Not too concerned about it being flimsy (the one we just finished on a friend's -7 is just fine)...I'm just going for a nice, finished look...
