Field & G3X signal wires

Hi- Thank you for your help. I have B&C main alternator. Should its unshielded field wire from voltage regulator be physically separated from runs containing unshielded signal wires - EGT &CHT, shielded signal wires - mp, oil press, etc; and, shielded pmag rpm lead, and pmag ignition wires?

Go Mavs!

The field wire carries a current between zero to about four amps depending on the charging demand.
In general audio should always be separated from other cables as much as possible.
Low voltage signals such as the ones you have mentioned above should as much as possible be separated from current (amp) carrying wires such as
starter motor, pitot heat, alternator wires, landing lights, pump motors etc.
Short parallell runs are not normally a problem such as passing through the fire wall.
When building it´s easy to wrap the low voltage cables together with aluminium tape or use a tinned copper braid when parallel run is unavoidable.

Good luck
