Fiberglass for windshild.

What weight fiberglass cloth should be used for the windshild instalation? I was planning on using light weight like 3.16 oz cloth then move up to 8.5 or 8.92oz cloth. What have other used?

I used standard 8.5 for the whole thing.

One tip I recommend: Get some West Systems graphite additive for your epoxy. (Boat supply houses have it) Add it in to the mix and you get black epoxy instead of the clear-ish. Looks a lot better from the inside of the cockpit.

I used 8oz ish for most of the layup, for the top layer or two I used 3oz ish because it seems to leave less weave to fill.

I used 6 layers of 6 oz cloth, and I'd say it's plenty thick
