FF-01402 Relay Doubler Thickness

Need this part. No response from Van's parts department (after about 50 rings, three different times. Store states part is back-ordered, so probably won't do any good even if I got a hold of someone.
I posted a Q&A to the store about plate thickness, no response to that either.
Looks easy to fabricate, but I need to know what the material is (aluminum, steel, SS?) and the thickness. Any help would be appreciated.

Your part is spec'd as 0.040" 2024-T3 Al by Van's in their builder manual parts section (attached) PDF Page 16 of 26.
