Today with much happiness my rv12 had it first successful engine run. Thanks to my hangar mate Vlad, there were no oil or fuel leaks. Also to Juan for his encouragement and hopefully have him start a RV project

Awesome power to weight ratio without the wings...the plane will easily jump those 2X4 chocks if it goes full throttle. It would be a bit like the F-104 in burner.

Jeff, those are great pictures. I was warned about the rotational power of the mightly 912, so we installed my wings just before test running the engine.

BTW, I'm up to about 18 hours on my engine, flying overhead your hanger some days. Let me know if I can be of any assistance, you are getting pretty far along.
