F766c location on F766a

Hi Guys

I'm In the process of modifying my RV6 from manual to electric flaps with the vans modification. Mine is the older kit with no pre punch holes. I'm using the rv7 drawings to make all the brackets but I'm not sure how far down the channel to attach and drill the 776c to the 766a Chanel.

Has anybody got these dimensions.

7 on a 6

Welcome to the wonderful wacky world of putting 7 parts on a 6. The 6 flap instructions I have are different than the 7. Also, the floor is lower and the upper attach bracket is different on the 7.

I remember the clearances being tight and the biggest difficulty was reworking the setup to clear the canopy release rod (on a tipup). I tore the original owner's installation out and rebuilt it from new parts because the rod would not fit, among other things. Most of the parts I re-made, to make it fit.

The dimension on the old plans is having the center hole 3" from the end but remember the attach brackets are different.
