F-902 Temporary Brace

The quickbuild kit comes with a brace across the top of the fuselage, between
F-902 bulkheads. Van say's to throw it away. This seems perplexing--why would you need it for shipping and not flying? If you don't put that brace back in, all you have is the flimsy F-7105 subpanels between there. Without it those subpanels are so flimsy they'll need to be braced just to attach some electrical items. I'm thinking it would be better to put that brace in behind the subpanels?

The sub-panels and the main panel, and top skin hold the front together and it becomes a very rigid section.

It came with plywood also but it's not needed for flight.

I didn't through mine away....

But I am still trying to figure out what to make out of it.

Anyone come up with a good use?

Cut it up and make backing plates or braces, cut it length wise and use the angles. All kinds of uses for it.
