extra angle in wing kit?

Does anyone know if the "extra" AA6-125-1 1/2x2 angle in the wing kit is needed later on? It is used to make the FL-906A angles. Vans give you 8 inches of raw stock which seems uncharacteristically generous.... I'm thinking of re-making one of my angles but I can make the existing one work if need be.


I can't find that raw stock called out in my parts index for any other parts. I wish that list was electronic, and searchable.

Dave,

You can always re-order the short pieces, if you need. Just don't cut those two long pieces of AA that are used for the fuselage longarons. I can only imagine how much they would cost to ship.

BTW, I have a bunch of AA left over. That is not a bad thing as you will find places to use that suff later on.

Extra LONG one for me...

My wing kit came with THREE long pieces when I received it back in 2003. I still have one of them. I never needed to cut into it at all.
