Good Afternoon:
I am having difficulty installing the exhaust system on the RV-12 ULS. I believe the ports on the muffler were mislabeled. If I were to put it together as labeled from Van's the exhaust pipe would be on the left side of the aircraft, but according to the lower cowling cut outs, it needs to be on he right side.
If I ignore the labeling on the muffler EX-00043, and install it according to KAI section 48. I can only get 2 of 4 pipes attached to the exhaust ports either the two on the right or the two on the left. My experience has been that if something does not line up, don't force it, you are doing something wrong.
