ER tanks

Looking for comments, good or bad on installing ER tanks (9 gals total) on my -7A. Wondering how many RV's out there have them installed? Is there any appreciable change in flight characteristics, empty or full along with any known structural concerns? I am close to painting my aircraft and thought this would be the appropriate time to ponder this project.

Have you done a search of the archives? LOTS of info about ER tanks.

I have them in my ten. The only thing I notice is it seams more stable in the chop when they are full. Other than that you would never know the difference in normal flight. Extra fuel is your best friend when traveling. I am very happy with my decision for installing them.
