empennage component weights

I'm New Here
Anybody happen to have (or can point to) a list of the finished weights for the empennage components?

Thanks.

Stan

tail weights

Using a bathroom scale, (varied as much as 4 pounds each time I stepped on it) the rudder and vertical (w/ CB weights) was 20 lbs. while the HS and elevators (w/ CB weights) was 40 lbs.

Thanks! Nice to see someone replied. Aren't builders keeping track of the weights of components as they go along?

Why

Hi Stan,
Question is, "Why?" You can't change the weight of the subassemblies. We just tried to build fairly light and the final weight and the balance is sorta self-correcting unless you add heavy stuff like a CS prop and metal spinner, shifting the CG forward. The guys with the 200 HP engines in the -8's often have to put the battery in the rear of the plane to correct CG problems,
Regards,
