Empennage Attachment (11-01)

I need a little advice here. My RV12 manufacturing plant doubles as a single car garage, without the car at this point. I'm about ready to start section 11, empennage attachment and will not have enough room for attaching the empennage. Reading ahead, I see that you attach the empennage in section 11, take it off in section 12, reinstall in section 12, remove in section 25, and I assume, reinstall in section 30.

Would it be possible (advisable) to delay sections 11 and 12 until much later in the process?

Yes. There are a number of steps that can and should be delayed. Attaching the tail is one of them. Even if you have room, no reason to put it on now, just to take it off later.

Just check the fit and set it aside

I agree...check the fit and trim...then set it aside until final assembly...after painting.
