Elevator UP stop

I found my elevator horns do not contact the UP stop, rather the tips of the horns hit the back wall of the tail cone. This gives me the correct travel (max) and appears to be a perfectly good stop.

But of course inspection is just around the corner and now I'm starting to worry this might be a no-no.

Any thoughts anyone?
