Hi guys
I am facing a problem with my RV9a QB.
I have built my elevator travel stop angle exactly as per plan but it seems like it is not long enough to do its job.
My elevator horns are hitting the back of the vertical stab plate instead of the travel stop.
Now I came up with the idea to get a tube (such as fuelpipe for cars), cut it in the middle to get a U-profile and slip it over the angle. I?d attach it with tanksealant.
What do you think?![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
(Deassembling the angle and exchange it would take ages...... plus, having the angle as a stopper, the horns would at aluminium which is not quite smooth).
Cheers
