Elevator cable tension

Don't spend $200. Just do the slap test. If you don't rattle against any sheet metal when you bump the limit stops, you are probably good to go. Make sure that you have the floor pans in place first. They do make a difference when making this adjustment

Ditto that

If your inexperienced on tensioning cables, find an A&P friend to lend a hand. Temperature can affect the tensioning process. It's only a 15 minute deal and most AP's have a good tension-o-meter.
