EGT readings

Replaced the right EGT probe at 127 hours with a new "revision something" probe from Dynon. No more fluctuating readings or alarms but the new probe reads 50 +/- 10 higher than the left side. The old ones showed maybe 10-15 degrees difference before failure. CHTs are within a couple of degrees of each other. Would a new probe read "more accurately" or are they all different from each other, or is my right carb running leaner than the left?? Or maybe the left one has crud built up like the right did before replacement?. Too much info from the D180!

Glad to hear that worked for you. Did you get my message on your email address? I will send you the mod info as soon as I get it.
