EGT difference after instrument change

Hi all,
For the first 85 hours of operation of my IO360 I had a single EGT instrument
( Vans) with multiple senders and a 4 position selector to monitor the engine.
I had gotten used to the EGT readings, depending on leaning, in the 1100 - 1400?F range. I recently installed a CHT system with spark plug gasket senders, new dual selector switch and a dual CHT/EGT instrument, all from Westach.
I am suprised to find that the EGT readings are approx 100-150?F less for the same leaning/fuel flow adjustment. The CHT readings seem normal at approx.325?F.
Is the difference in EGT readings possibly due to internal differences between the Vans and Westach instruments.?
Note that I am using the same original EGT probes and I know that the Westach instrument is not compensated for different hot/cold junction temps. in the thermocouple.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated

Mike

Nothing to be worried about.

Will be in the different switch most likely.

EGT is all about relative readings not the actual number.

Cheers :)
