I have the Dynon EMS-D10, which allows you to grab the data two ways:
1. download from internal RAM via clunky windows tool
2. log the live serial stream
My windows laptop finally died, and using the program was painful anyway. So I built a simple serial logger with the tiny SparkFun OpenLog board (you also need a serial level converter).
But...the file formats for #1 and #2 are different. Thanos at Savvy just added format #2!
I can post photos if anyone is interested, but now I can just grab my sdcard at the end of the flight and upload it to savvy for nice charting back home.
I'm not affiliated with Savvy (not even a customer (yet?), this charting is free!)
