A few weeks ago there was some discussion of the Dynon EGT probes & their survival rate. After 150 hours, mine look OK (to me). I use ethanol free mogas 90% of the time & try to keep the highest EGT below 1475. Here's a sample photo.
In addition, another thread expressed concern whether the carb heat muff would cut into the exhaust. I checked mine and found no indications of cutting into the pipe. The flange that rests on the exh pipe has about 5/16" of surface so I'd credit the flange for the lack of wear.
