Drilling Front Stub Spar

Instructions call for using a 1/4 drill bit to machine holes to 120deg. Wouldn't a 120deg cutter with #30 pilot do the job ????????????? John

14-02 Step 2

14-02 Step 2 does not say to use a 1/4" drill bit to countersink holes. The directions say to drill a 1/4" hole in a piece of scrap. Then use that piece of scrap as a gauge to measure the diameter of the machine countersunk holes.
