Doors ?

I have my cabin top temporarily mounted. I noticed on some -10 builder sites the cabin top is still clecoed while doors are being completed. I would like to complete the doors, then pull the cabin top and finish the inside before permanently mounting it. I will not be installing the Mcmaster seal, but I plan to experiment with other door seal products I am aware of. I need to trim the cabin door flange and have the doors fitted to the cabin in before I can determine what seal materials I can try. Any problem with the door/cabin direction Im considering.

No problem with you approach. I didn't permanently install the cabin cover and the upper fuselage assembly until just about everything else was done.

Make sure you have it bolted in addition to clecos. You want to make sure the cabin top, and specifically the door opening, are in the final position and shape when you're fitting the doors.
