Do you ground your plane while it sits in the hangar?

Hi gang.

I guess the heading of this post speaks for itself. Reason for the question is that I have been thinking about this for a while and so far I think it's a good idea.

And it'd be an easy thing to do too: just hook up a clamp to the exhaust and then have this wire go a ground connection.

Any reason why this would NOT be a good idea?

A friend just oversaw the building of new hangars at his airport and the new "international" code requires a ground wire be placed in the middle of the hangar floor.

But to answer your question, I do not ground my airplane or my car. I also do not fuel my plane while in the hangar and don't plan to.
