DIY Deburring/Polishing Stand

Here's my DIY deburring/polishing stand I made (a long time ago) ...

Rocker switch for continuous ops & momentary foot switch for intermittent jobs.

We need a “cool tools” section in the forum. Why the belt reduction? Typically you want higher rpms for buffing. No matter, I have no doubt it works well.

By the way, a Baldor stand alone cost $400, without a buffer!
My Baldor extended arbor buffer runs at 3600rpm.

Well ...

It's belt driven for convenient placement of the motor (already had it); and, the reduction drive takes the shaft speed down to about 2100 rpm - fast enough for what I am using it for ...
 
Now that is a serious piece of stuff. I just have a couple bench grinders bolted down to the bench with different wheels
