DIY Battery Packs

In another thread someone asked about making their own backup battery pack for a Dynon.

Came across this video demonstrating how to use a 12V (car) battery, starter solenoid, switch and couple of copper nails to spot weld:

Looks real simple.

Pretty cool video. Looks like a ton of work. Batteries are so cheap these days, that i'd just buy one already made - time is money!
