Can any one help me out please?
Im making a kit of parts to take around with me in case I get a puncture away from base. I've had 2 nose wheel punctures in 2 years of flying, fortunately both at my home field.
I need to cut a block of wood to make a temporary axle stand that fits under the axle of my RV7 when removing the wheel using the Avery RV Jack stand?
What thickness of wood do i need as per the first picture in this thread http://rvplane.com/?categoryid=5&dayid=620
Also, what's the lightest jack? From my own research seems like a scissors jack.
Any other suggestions much appreciated
Thanks in Advance
