In case you didn't believe the Aeroelectric Connection's advice not to use cheapo hardware-store crimp terminals, check out these tests of cheap (StoreHouse) and not-so-cheap (ETC, Calterm) terminals. The difference is striking.

(SteinAir sold me ETC brand terminals, claiming they were similar to AMP in quality, and I am happy with them. I guess they carry all AMP now.)

Good Validation

Good find Paul. I've used AMP terminals for mine (bought through Digikey). They're expensive but appear to be worth it! I wonder where they would potentially fail? I've always been kind of a "get what you pay for" guy and these seem to fall in that camp.
