Page 47-6, figure 2 instructs you to bevel the eyelets of the cowl attach hinges around the left and right upper corners. If I understand correctly then the instructions are to bevel the lower (inside the bend) portions of the eyelets attached to the fuselage.
My question: Will it not be better to bevel the lower portions of the eyelets that are attached to the cowl? In doing so I think it will allow easier mating of the eyelets during cowl attachment without changing the stability or strength.
