Having some pretty cool CHT and oil temps with the cold in VT. Addressing the oil temps. Has anybody come up with some kind of winter kit to address ta cowl inlet restriction for the CHT?

The good news is that you can climb at Vx or Vy and not have to worry about overheating, that coupled with low density altitude should make for awesome rates of climb. I have a friend with another homebuilt who put a stopcock on the oil line to the oil cooler, simple, but it is only ground adjustable. Sounds like you are looking for some kind of thermostat for the oil cooler, it must exist somewhere.
