Coolant Hoses

Has anyone had trouble inserting the FF-1208C Expansion Springs into the FF-1208A and B coolant hoses (See page 49-02 of the plans)? If so how did you solve this problem?

I just did the 5 year hose change on my CT. The springs were easy out/in. Of course it's a different plane so the comparison may not be valid.

Coolent Hoses

You have to tighten the spring like a screw, but turn it in the reverse direction.

about the middle of the page. Was very easy once I lubricated the springs.

Lubrication

Just use the dish detergent as a lubricant. Less cleanup afterwards.
