Does anyone know if the comant ci-121sp Loran C antenna is the same as the ci-121. Has anyone ever used it as a comm antenna. I ignorantly bought a used loran C antenna.

Not the same.
The Comant CI-121 is for the frequency range of 118-137 MHz. Com Frequency Range
The CI-121SP is for the frequency range of 90-110 KHz. :Loran Frequency Range
