Fuel tanks:
I took a 2+ year hiatus between prosealing my interior ribs and completing the tanks. I'm now at the point of attaching the rear baffle, but the interior of the tanks has various chaff, nubs and detritis inside. I'm building in a hangar, and things just get a little dirty over time. Not caked on, mind you, but just somewhat dusty/grungy.
Does anyone have a recommendation about how best to clean the tanks before sealing them up? I'm tempted to just use a H2O-based degreaser followed by a thorough rinse and complete dry...is there any problem with doing this?
