Classic Aero Aviator Side Panels

If I am planning on using the CA Aviator side panels, do I need to leave the armrest off of the fuse during construction? Or do they become a part of the structure for the side panels??

No construction modifications needed--they fit right over the armrests, and the fuse armrests are structurally important. CA has it all figured out!

Related to the original question...
I'm planning to use CA Aviator Seats... do they use the same mounting system of the stock Van's seats or there are some modifications nedeed?

For the RV7, Aviator seats: install the hinges per the plans. DO NOT bother building the seat backs. Takes about 30 minutes to install both seats.
