I know this is a long shot - but I'll try it here anyway.
I have just come into the possession of a Chicago Pneumatic CP-450 EA Compression Riveter, and am in need of an Operating Manual and/or Parts Manual.
Anybody out there know where I might go to look for such a thing.
For those of you not familiar with this "beast", here are the particulars:
Throat Depth: 36"
Throat Height: 8"
Maximum Axial Force: 24,000 lbs (not a typo!)
Weight: 3200 lbs (another - not a typo!)
Maximum Operating Temperature: 800*F (For hot dimpling)
I "rescued" it on its way to the salvage yard for the cost of $0.00.
Any help or direction is appreciated.
Almost forgot - It came out of Lockheed many moons ago.
