Cee Bailey’s wing tip lens PIREP

I installed the Cee Bailey’s windows and tip lens in my -10 (been flying for six years). I have not had a problem with the windows, but starting three years ago the wing tip lens started fogging up. I called Cee Bailey’s (when the problem started) and got blown off. Every year since I have had to buff them out with a restoration kit. Cee Bailey‘s are 103 per lens (206 dollars for the two). I‘m done with the yearly restoring process and finally ordered the Vans lens for 78 dollars. All the Van’s lens I have seen on older planes are still nice and clean looking. I believe you are better off just going with the Vans lens. The only claim Cee B has is that Van’s lens need to be split in half. Which is not a big deal. Especially for the quality and cost.
