The -7 Slider plans show putting pop rivets in direct contact with the plexi along the front and rear slider tubes. My question has to due with the front slider attachment.
First, I plan to use #6 screw instead of rivets. I would like to make a washer / trim strip to place on top of the plexi across the entire front edge slider canopy. If anyone else has done this, I'd sure like to see a picture.
Also, what about putting some sort of filler on the underside of the plexi (at the front slider tube and at the roller bar) for a fillet for strenght and cosmetics. Any suggestion on a good product for this?
