Canopy Roll Bar Fit-Up Tip

My slider roll bar was about 1/4 inch too wide and neeeded to be tweeked to fit. The instructions say to put one end on the floor and push on the other to make it narrower, but my 200 pounds wouldn't budge it.

I finally succeeded by using a 2-ton cable puller with a couple of clevises attached to the roll bar. I went through several itterations of pull-release-measure before I finally got results with a 5-3/4 inch pull that netted 1/4 inch of change after release.

I was working on the same thing today and couldn't get the row bar to budge either with my 160lb body. Looks like I may need to go to the same extreme.
