canopy frame

my canopy frame doesn't quite conform to the fuselage. if the rear of the frame, when closed, is moved to the right a little then things seem to line up better. how perfectly does the frame need to fit in order to have a decent appearance when finished?

I suspect that once you fit the skirts you won't be able to tell. You can hide a number of sins with those fiberglass skirts (don't ask how I know)

I had to bend mine around a little. Going on some old memory, I think I got mine to within about +/- 1/8 to 3/16" before attaching plexi and skirt. The fit turned out pretty decent, IMO.
