Hello All!
I used the search function and found lots on Canada to US import but nothing really for my specific issue. I'm currently looking to purchase an RV-7 that was originally built and flown in the US. It was bought buy a gentleman in Canada and now is being offered for sale once again. Since the aircraft was originally built in the US, am I correct in assuming that it should be a fairly simple process to get a US Airworthiness Certificate once again (pending appropriate care and mx while in Canada)? In checking the FAA regulations, they only have information about canadian built experimental aircraft imported to the US from what I could find. Anyone know of any gotchas or issues to be aware of in my case? Thanks!
