What did you use 0.63" or thinner ?

I am still building mine, but have chosen to use 0.50

Seems to be plenty stiff, but I am not flying yet. The instructions said you could go down to 40, but that seemed to weak for me.

I used 0.63. If I were to do it again I'd use 0.50.

I'm guessing that y'all meant .063, .050, etc. Otherwise things might start getting a little heavy

Seriously though, I'm working on mine right now. I used .063. I'm finding that it's so stiff that "tuning" the flanges by bending to better fit the cowl is extremely difficult.

I used .063 and found that the cowl lifts almost 1/16-inch during flight due to the bending of the tabs. Its not a problem, but I wouldn't go any lighter on them.
