Cabin heat muff on exhaust pipe

Fellow RV-ators,

Could you advise me on this one: I bought the Van's universal heat muff and I'm trying to figure out what the best position is on the exhaust pipe and what the best routing is for the hoses. The inlet is mounted in the front right baflle, the Selector box is in the standard mid-firewall position.
Do you have any suggestions or pictures?

Thanks!

Hi Ren?,

I ended up ordering a custom, 60 degree heat muff from Rick Robbins at Robbins Wings. I used the same end caps and tie rods, so just the muff was $45 including shipping. It should really be the standard issue for forward facing sumps. The only option with the standard muff it to run the outlet SCAT outside the intake/exhaust tubes, kind of laying on the cowl. With the custom muff, I was able to run the SCAT inside the intake/exhaust tubes. It's a tight fit, but doable. I believe running it on the inside is even easier with a Superior sump.
