When I took the plastic off of my RV-10 windshield after installation, I found it had a series of short scratches which looked like razor blade scratches near one edge. They were deep enough I could feel them with the pad of my finger. I had been very careful with it (I thought), so not sure how they got there. Maybe it came like that, maybe I did it.
After looking at several options, I bought the CA Scratch Off from Van's Store. I was very nervous about the first step (600 grit wet sanding), but am pleased to report that the whole process took about 1-1/4 hour, was pretty easy (good instructions, polishing pads attached to my drill), and the results are very good. I ended up doing quite a bit with the 600 grit, but after that, the polishing was easy and effective. Five stars.
