At 75 Hours I took the plane in to get it painted and noticed the heat shield had de-bonded and the metal scorched on the left side of my cowl. I have the newer two heat muff exhaust on my 10 and I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and what heat shield might work better?

I have never seen this on mine. I just used the stick in heat shield. Pictures would help

I don't know what you're using but the heat shielding from Van's sticks better than anything I've ever bought from Aircraft Spruce. I tore off the junk I had purchased from ACS (what was left of it) and replaced it with the Van's aluminum foil about 200 hours ago. It's been fine.

I also sealed our bottom cowl with epoxy before sticking anything to it.
