Joe,

I'm building a RV12 as an EAB. I purchased the plane from a guy in Florida who did not finish it. I purchased the Rotal privately and it has a three bladed prop. I have a Dynon D100, a Lowrance 2000C GPS, and a Grand Rapids Tech. EIS in the cockpit. I hope to get it registered as a EAB in the spring.

Building EAB
I will use this title to talk about the Alterations that I make to my 12.

Adopted
1. Flush rivets
2. Stabilator Fairings

If anyone has any thing that they have changed Please post under this title and we won’t waste the time of E-LSA Builders.

There is a list of Alterations on my web site that I am contemplating.

All suggestion appreciated.
Yes E-LSA builders to

Thanks

Installed hard rivets in all nut plates
Installed a light smoke plexi rear window
Installed 1/2" aircraft grade insulation in radio tray and on rear of firwall
Sealed off the sight glass window with .032" plate, inside and out, on fuel tank
Installed soft start feature on the engine ignition
Planning on 696 instead of 496
Planning on stabilator fiberglass tips
Planning on a whiskey compass, and maybe a real airspeed indicator.

Building EAB Stab Fairings

Added nutplates to Stabilator for adding removable Fairings.

These nutplates can also be used to add flags or small turn signals for towing

To add nutplates is a concern as it may require you to go EAB?
