Doing an oil change today and when I pulled the lower cowl a few lugs fell out![Mad  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
The broken lugs were on the inside of the lower rear hinge assemblies which I see in the threads is the typical place that this happens, a screw flange solution is mentioned but I did not find any photo's or description so I am not sure what exactly this looks like, any pictures?
I did also note that people have switched to the extruded hinges with some success which is what I have ordered from Van's for now, I only have 65 hours on the plane so I am looking for a reasonably robust solution for the long term without having to do major rework.
What solutions are the most common for this problem?
Thanks
