Brake lines - I am missing something

Hi all,
I fiddled with the brake lines in the cabin today.
I'm quite satisfied with the fit, only the flares are left to do.
As I'm building a 7A, the lines exit the fuselage near the gear weldments.
How I am supposed to do the flare at this place as the line has to go through the cover support ribs before the nut and sleeve can be installed? Do the cover support ribs have to be removed and the tubing inserted before doing the flare?
Thanks for your input.

Also building a 7A. My brake lines exit the fuselage through a hole in the gear weldment (not near the weldment).

I ran the lines through the support ribs and weldment first and then did the flares. I did the fuselage exit ends first and connected them to the AN fitting. I then adjusted the lines along the spar and around the fuel lines working forward. I did the firewall bends and flares last.
