Brake line routing

I am thinking about re-routing the brake lines where they enter the towers. The plans show the brake lines entering the towers thru a lightening hole. I am thinking I will penetrate the front of the tower with a bulkhead fitting, leaving all lightening holes open for tower access. Anyone see any problems with this?

They work fine as shown . The hole is too small and high for any access.

I did mine in a similar way, only in the side rather than the front, possibly a little more accessible...

The brake lines were a non issue when tightening the gear bolts, however it was still an extreme pita...
