Bonding inlet duct

Not obvious how these should be placed. Centered on the inlet, or shifted outboard?

On my RV-9A I centered them. You can always trim them a bit if they need it later with the baffling installed.

Trim dimension?

Dan, could you please give an approx. dimension for where the trim line in your "Step 1" should be located, in relation to the inlet's leading edge?
I working on baffles now, and this post is quite timely.
