Bob Eicher's first flight 120156

Bob Eicher flew his RV-12 120156 today at about 8:00 am this morning from Spruce Creek airport (7FL6) with Capt. Mike Kelly in chase in RV-12 120186 which first flew in February.

Its going too fast

RV-12 120156 must be going very fast. It is making waves in the sky!
How does it do that with the prop standing still?

John, please don't tel Van where it is it may be several weeks before they miss it.

Joe, it is a new secret jet engine program that we have developed and the prop is feathered to make less drag when flying on the jet engine only.

Yea that my story and I am sticking to it.

Bob and Vern - it's hard to beat 'red'. I think that the red ones fly a little faster than 120K but won't tell anyone else. Now the fun starts - congrats again.
